Baggage allowance
Baggage policies follow Avianca's tailored fare structure designed to give you control over what you pay. 'Basic' fares include only a personal item that fits under the seat. 'Classic' fares include one carry-on (10kg) and one checked bag (23kg). 'Flex' and 'Business' fares offer additional checked baggage (up to 32kg for Business) and complimentary sports equipment depending on your route.
Change policy
Flight changes depend on your selected fare family. Basic fares are highly restrictive and do not allow changes or refunds. Classic fares allow modifications for a penalty fee plus any applicable fare difference. Flex and Business fares provide maximum peace of mind, allowing flight changes with no penalty fee (fare differences may still apply).
