Key policies

Baggage allowance

Historically, Transaero utilized a weight-based concept for most flights (20kg for Economy, 30kg for Business) and a piece concept for North American routes (two bags up to 23kg each for Economy class).

Change policy

As Transaero ceased operations in 2015, ticket changes, cancellations, and rebookings are no longer applicable. During its operation, flexibility and change fees were strictly dependent on the purchased fare class.

Check-in

During its active years, Transaero offered online check-in opening 30 hours prior to scheduled departure, alongside self-service kiosks and traditional counter check-in at its hub airports.
